To help you keep hydrated, it helps to get a bit creative. Try experimenting with normal ceylon tea, rooibos or herbal teas and sweeten them using a natural plant based sweetener like Stevia (available in liquid, powder and tablets). Make the tea, let it cool and keep it in the fridge. Ideas like combining aniseed with pieces of fresh orange fruit has the warmth of spice for the colder months. Strawberries with fresh mint leaves and lemon, fresh pieces of lime with fresh chopped chilli, thyme with lemon, fresh ginger, thyme and basil, or just keep it simple with one fruit or herb. Freshly sliced apple with some chopped clelery or cucumber is refreshing on a hot summers day.
